This paper deals with convergence estimations of a preconditioned GMRES(m) method, where multigrid is used as the preconditioner. Fourier analysis is a well-known useful tool in the multigrid community for the prediction of two-grid convergence rates. This analysis is generalized to the situation where multigrid is a preconditioner.
