The village of Copper Mountain is located 75 miles (120 km) west of
Denver via Interstate 70, at exit 195. It is located near Breckinridge and Vail.
Copper Mountain is 9600 feet (3100 m) above sea level.

This is a good view of the
village and the ski runs on the two mountains. The peak on the left is Copper Mountain,
which contains mostly blue, black, and multiple black diamond ski runs. The peak on the
right is Union Peak, which contains green, blue, and black ski runs. There are a number of
lifts directly outside of the conference areas.
